Website Admin Guide

🔑 1. Getting Started

Welcome to your website's control center! This dashboard allows you to manage everything from your salon's address to your portfolio imagery instantly. You can perform all these actions from your phone between appointments.

📞 2. Contact & Business Info

Located under the "Contact Details" tab.

• Modify Details: Update your phone number, email, or salon address easily.
• Social Links: Paste your full Facebook or Instagram profile URLs to update the links on your homepage.
• Google Maps: If you move locations, update your shared Map link here to guide clients to your new spot.

Action: Always click "Save Contact Info" at the bottom to make your changes live.

🖼️ 3. Brand Images

Located under the "Hero & Brand" tab. This allows you to swap out or remove the three most important high-impact photos on your site.

• Site Logo: Your branding at the top-left of every page.
• Hero Image: The large main photo at the very top of the homepage.
• About Image: Your bio portrait in the "Meet Angela" section.

Actions:

• Upload: Click the dotted box to select a new photo.
• Remove (×): Use the small cross on an image to delete it. If you remove the "About Image", your bio text will automatically expand to fill the space cleanly.

✍️ 4. Homepage Text

Located under the "Homepage Text" tab. This gives you total control over the words on your site.

• Headlines & Intros: Change your hero tagline or the "Meet Angela" heading.
• About Bio: Update your personal story or technical descriptions effortlessly.
• Contact Text: Refresh the greeting in your contact section.

Tip: Use this to run seasonal promotions or update clients on new training/awards!

🎨 5. Managing Your Portfolio

Located under the "Portfolio" tab.

Uploading New Work

• Choose the correct category (Colour, Balayage, or Cut & Finish).
• Upload photos directly from your phone. They are added to your library instantly.

The Starring System (Curating your Homepage)

We built a special feature so your homepage always stays fresh with only your absolute best work:

• The Star Icon (★): Tap the star on any image to "Feature" it.
• The Result: Featured images get a Gold Border and are the only ones that appear on the public homepage.
• Show Starred Only: Use this switch in your dashboard to see exactly what your clients see.

💬 6. Client Reviews

Located under the "Reviews" tab.

• Add new testimonials from Facebook or Instagram by pasting the quote and the client's name.
• Edit or delete existing reviews to keep your feedback current and polished.
